Context

ACargo is a logistics platform designed to connect truck drivers already traveling along specific routes with customers needing cargo delivered in the same direction. Essentially an Uber for cargo solution.

By filling unused truck space, drivers earn more per trip while customers enjoy faster and more affordable deliveries.

The solution includes:

• A web-based admin panel to manage orders, users, and logistics operations

• A mobile app for drivers to post available space, accept requests, and track deliveries

• A mobile app for customers to create and monitor cargo shipments

• A backend API responsible for coordinating communication, order management, and integrations with third-party services such as Firebase

Approach

I joined the project mid-development, at a time when it suffered from instability, scattered features, and inconsistent architecture across Web, Mobile, and Backend.

As Tech Lead and Project Manager, I took ownership of the full delivery process, coordinating directly with the client, defining sprints, prioritizing features, and aligning the engineering roadmap with business outcomes.

I led a small cross-functional team (mobile developer, web developer, and QA engineer) to stabilize the product across all platforms and deliver a reliable, production-ready release.

Impact

  • Reduced system crashes and improved platform stability.
  • Improved delivery predictability and user experience
